She moved in 1979 to city of Manistee to spend the last years of her life at the home of her daughter, Ruth PALMQUIST, at 1019 Sweetmander Dr.. During early years of marriage Olive & Bert resided on Fenkell in Detroit, Wayne co, MI. Their later years together (and some of Olive's time as a widow) were spent running an informal vacation trailer park in Mio, Oscoda co, MI.

Olive's funeral handled by Johnson Funeral Home of Manistee. She attnede Good Shepherd Lutheran church in Manistee.

Olive owned a nice automobile...a 1950 or 53 Buick Special. She was a very erratic driver in old age. Luckily she lived only about a half mile from the center of downtown small town Mio. When Corey stayed with her the first half of the summer 1968 Aunt "Ollie" scared her by driving at breakneck speeds & then slamming on the brakes suddenly at the stop signs. Another lucky thing...Olive always took the uncrowded little side/back streets into town.

Mark Christopher MARENTETTE lived with Aunt "Ollie" during part of 1973. While he was there he installed a new fuel pump on her Buick. It had only 17,000 miles on it at that time.
