- 1679 - Unknown source: "John Bromfield - dying intestate, administration requested by his relic, Oliffe, in behalf of his orphans. (recorded 9 Feb. 1680)
- Jul 1680 - John Pitt's wife, the relic of Mr. Giles Driver, gave her daughter Hardy five sheep, one young mare &e, warranting said mare to her the said Hardy Driver. ("Isle of Wight, VA Records, Deed 8," Jul 1680)
- Date? - Will of John Pitt mentioned "Daughter-in-law (step-daughter) Ann Bromfield her father John Bromfield's estate. (Isle of Wight, VA Will and Deed Book 2, p. 454)
- 10 Jul 1711 - The Will of John Pitt’s son, Robert Pitt, named "my father-in-law (stepfather) Andrew Monro and Uncle Henry Pitt Exors." (Jul 10, 1711)
- 31 May 1725, Location? - Olive's Will (proved May 31, 1725) names Robert Pitt's grandson, Robert. It also names John, Henrietta, Sara, Mary Monro, the children of Rev. Andrew Monro and his first wife, Mary Smith.
