He was BORN 3/25/1912 in Robertson Co. to M/M. Elbert & Avy Isbell Jackson. Married Lillian B. Yoakum on 11/24/1934 in Rockdale. He was a lifelong Rockdale resident and a retired carpenter. Member of the Methodist Alliance and the VFW Post 6525, also veteran of U.S. Army during WW-2. Preceded in death by 3 brothers and a daughter.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Lillian Jackson of Rockdale; 2 sons, Travis Jackson of Fairfield and Sam Jackson of Arlington; brother, Lester Jackson of Cameron; 3 sisters, Pauline Williams of Rockdale, Eutha Caywood of Rockdale and Evonell McMillian of Jacinto City; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
