Norine A. Henry, 61, of New Tripoli R.3, died Monday in her home. Lehigh County Coroner Wayne Snyder ruled her death a suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Henry. They were married 40 years last October.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Henry Wilson and Kate Estella (Reidy) Rex.
She was a member of Jacobs United Church of Christ, Jacksonville, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and superintendent. She was also a choir member, vacation Bible school teacher and former den mother for a Cub Scout troop in Kempton R.2.
Survivors: Husband; sons, Scot A. of Shoemakersville, and Kris R. of Virginville, Berks County; daughters, Susan J., wife of Ronald Hartman of New Tripoli R.1, Ann P. Brendel of Hamburg, and Judy L., wife of Don Ritchie of Aurora, Colo.; brother, Fred of Slatington; sisters, Florence, wife of Walter Angstadt of Walnutport R.1, and Dana, wife of Dr. Morton Silverman of Allentown, and 10 grandchildren.
Services: At convenience of the family in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Jacksonville (Route 143). No calling hours.
