    Resident--Of Union City for a great number of years was Nicholas Latz.--Funeral services will take place Tuesday.

    Nicholas Latz, 68 years old, retired railroad employee, died Friday evening at his home near Winchester, Ind., following a brief illness. A resident of this community for many years, he formerly was track foreman and later agent for the Dayton & Muncie Traction company. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Woodman's lodge. The body has been removed to the Fraze Funeral home in this city, where friends may call until time for services. Rites will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's church with Rev. Fr. T.J. Hammes officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery.

    Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Hilda Taylor, Adeline, Mary Frances and Edna all of Indianapolis; one son, Walter, also of Indianapolis ; two sisters, Elizabeth and Barbara, both of Chicago and three brothers, Frank and Peter, both of Logansport and William of Houston, Tx.
