July 1906 obit. for W.H. Turbett shows his sister as Mrs. E.B. Evans of 1410 W. 19th in Des Moines, IA. The Des Moines Feb. 12, 1931 obit. for Mrs. Martha Turbett gives her daughter as Mrs. E. B. Evans of Monrovia, CA. My Dad said that her husband was a teacher. Notice that in 1830 Census for Des Moines, IA living almost next door to Cortes and Ida Braught with Ida's mother, Martha Owen Motley Turbett is a family of Elmo Evans, age23; very possibly an in-law to Nettie and Edward Evans.
