"Mrs. Nellie M. Mann, aged 60, of 526 1/2 East Indiana Avenue, died at 9 AM today in a worth hospital after several months illness. Born in South Bend, November 5, 1884, she had spent her entire life here. Survivors include a son, Glenn A. Mann; a grandson, Robert T.; her father, E. E. wells; two brothers, E. G. Wells and R. G. Wells; and four sisters, Mrs. D. R. Baer, and Mrs. W. G. Hintz, all of South Bend, Mrs. Grace Collier, of La Porte, Indiana, and Mrs. O. A. Hollister, of Houston, Texas. Friends may call in the Hay Funeral Home after 8 PM today." South Bend Tribune 11/07/1944

"Funeral services were Mrs. Nellie M. Mann, aged 60, of 5026 1/2 East Indiana Avenue, who died Tuesday, will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday in the Hay Funeral Home. Rev. C. C. Pearce, pastor of Stull Memorial Methodist Church, will officiate with burial at the Highland mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Dick McCormick, Elmer Schoff, Kenneth Sugonis, Walter Mangus, Howard Solk and Leo Edison, Jr.. Friends may call at the funeral home until the service."
