Sec. of Conn. She d. 6 Jan., 1729-30, ae. 35—Weth. Ins.; and Capt. Nathaniel m. (2) 1731, Sarah (dau. Capt. Joseph and Sarah Doty) Allyn, formerly of Plymouth, Mass., b. Weth., 17 Aug., 1708. Capt. Stillman, in 1740, was appointed by the Gen. Assemb. Qr.-mastr. to the troop of H. Co., and in 1740, Capt. of the troop. He d. 1 Jan., 1770, age 78 (W. C. R.). She d. 4 Mar., 1794, ae. 85. This Nathaniel at his death, 1770, left an est. invent. at £1793; gave a ho-std. to his son Nathaniel, which he bought of his father-in-law, Joseph Allyn many yrs. previous."
