She was b. 14 May, 1694, d. 2 July, 1777, age 83—Weth. Ins. He was associated with his father in mchtle. bus. and succeeded him at his dth.; … was a selectman, 1736. He d. 17 Aug., 1775, ae. 82. Was assessor, 1716. His will dated 19 Aug., 1773, by which he provided liberally for wife and the bulk of his est. betw. his sons John and Elisha; his lands in Chatham div. betw. 5 daus. The Inventory of Goods, Chattels and Estate of Deacon John Stillman, late of Wd. is taken Nov. 23, 1775. Among garments mentioned are a beaver hat, breeches, black vest, blue coat, blue great coat, etc. His table outfit included 'diaper napkins, plain do, large and small silver spoons, silver tankard,' etc. There were 2 looking glasses. Among 'Sundry bookes' are 'best-great Bible, old do, Saints Everlasting Rest [prob. Baxter's].' In all, £361-16s-0d, less than one-tenth as much as was left by his father George."
