Biography

Nathaniel was born in 1841. He is the son of Onias Hopkins and Sarah Williams. He passed away in 1917.

He was buried in Barnum Cemetery, Mayfield, MI. Lived near Kingsley, MI, Paradise Twp., Grand Traverse Co. 1900 Census shows him there but no family or spouse listed with him. Esther died in 1898. 1900 Census list his son, Frank J. in the household of Ralph Case in Kingsley, MI. as a boarder. In 1861 at age 20 he enlisted for service in the Civil War -- Co. N, 22 Regiment of Veteran Reserve Corps of MI. Discharged in 1854 He was wounded in battle.
