Also mentioned in Rachel Crow's will is her sister, Naomi Brown, who by 1807 had long been the widow Brown. Naomi's husband was David Brown, son of Abel, a neighbor both on Elkridge and in Delaware Hundred. They had one son, David Brown, Jr., born 3 Dec 1763. By 20 Feb 1775 David Sr. had died. In April 1780 David Jr. and his cousin Robert Shipley, son of Hammutal, chose their grandfather Robert Tevis Senr. and their uncle Robert Tivis Junr. as guardians.
