The transcription of Highland Cemetery has two listings for Nannie: one says Mrs. N. M. Crosby; the other says Crosby, see Jackson (but she's not listed among the Jacksons). The birth and death dates on the inscriptions are correct.

Dave Frazier writes: "I finally got a chance to go through my grandfather's (Clarence Walter Crosby) research boxes, and I found two documents that support Nannie May Jackson being born in Ohio. Clarence Croby's certified birth certificate lists his mother as Nannie May Jackson, birthplace Migs County, Ohio. Migs is spelled "Migs", without the "e". I also found a Jackson family history document called "Home Folks- written by Eunice and Cart for their children" in 1950. On the second page of the document, it says "For a little while the family (referencing Hezekiah Jackson's family) moved to a farm on the Ohio side in the big bend of the Ohio river, but most of the time they lived near Ravenswood, in West Virginia." So I would suspect that Nannie was born while they lived on the Ohio side."
