Nancy Gallagher Davis, 95, passed away July 6, 2019.

Nancy was a 1941 graduate of Central High School and attended Southwestern (now Rhodes) where she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. She was a member of many clubs and societies to include, Arawater Garden Club, Order of First Families of Virginia, Jamestown Society, Huguenot Society of the founders of Manakin in the Colony of Virginia, National Society of the Daughters of American Revolution, Watauga Chapter, Chickasaw District, Tennessee Chapter of National Daughters of the Founders and Patriots of America, Colonial Dames of Memphis, First Families of Virginia, Colonial Dames of America, Parkdale Garden Club, National Society of the Washington Family Descendants, United Daughters of the Confederacy, English Speaking Union, and Nicholas Martieau Society.

Nancy grew up in Bellevue Baptist Church and was a current member of Independent Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Kathryn Smith; and husbands, Charles Barney Gallagher, Jr. and Tanner Davis.

Nancy is survived by 2 sons, Charles B. Gallagher, III (Leslie) and Gregory S. Gallagher (Patrice); 2 grandchildren, Megan Michelle Grose (Chris) and Gregory A. Lloyd (Jekka); 1 great-grandchild, William Leo Lloyd; and 1 sister, Kathryn Dixon (Ray). Nancy also leaves her dog and faithful companion, Winnie.

Wednesday, July 10, funeral services celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., all at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
