Myrtle M. Warren of Woodlawn Dies Saturday
Mrs. Myrtle M. Warren, 66, of Woodlawn died Saturday morning in a Helena hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Warren was born Dec. 26, 1893, in Helena and attended schools here. She was employed as a cook at the Deaconess Home for Children from 1919 until 1945.
Later, she was employed as a cook by Capital Concessions in the Sam W. Mitchell building and by Bill’s Bakery. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and had been a patient at St. Peter’s Hospital for seven months shortly before her death.
In addition to her husband, Walter Warren, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Al (LeVerne) Beck and Mrs. William (Dorothy) McEnaney; a brother, Robert McElhaney of
Stevensville, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother and a daughter, Evelyn Warren Bennett who died in Helena in 1948.
Chapel services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Roland Raser of the First Christian Church officiating. Pallbearers will be William L. Taylor, John Flacker, Orie
Flacker, Howard Anders, Dan Hilger and G. L. (Buck) Finley. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery. Hagler Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
