- Moses, who went by Mosie, was a farm labourer, living in DeLisle, Saskatchewan, when he was drafted in the Canadian Army, 2 April, 1918. He joined the 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan. He is described as 22,single, 5' 7" tall, reddish complexion, blue eyes, red hair. He was discharged, 9 Dec. 1918, on demolization
On November 23, 1923, Mosie entered the USA, via Port Huron, Michigan. He indicates his last residence was Orillia, Ont., the documents show he had been in the USA previously, from 1921 to 1923, his intentions is to travel to Spokane, Washington. --The border crossing records list his name as Mosie. His mother's obituary in 1947, indicates he was residing in the "Western States"--
