2/22/1934 EAGLE Monroe Sharp, 85 years of age, who for many years resided on a farm east of Homer, died Tuesday in a Sioux City hospital of complications of advanced age. He was born February 5, 1849, in North Carolina and had been a resident of Nebraska for many years. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs.. Mary Gibson of Sioux City, Miss Ann Sharp of South Sioux City, Mrs.. Delia Strough and Mrs.. Malinda Freeze of Maryville, MO. Funeral services will be held this morning, Thursday, at 10:30 o'clock in Westcott's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harry Krohn officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City cemetery.
