Monora was a surviving son in Luther's 1964 obituary. In this obit his name was spelled Monroe, but all the other records, including Monora's obituary, spell his name Monora. Other name errors were noted in Luther's obit.

Lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. His interests included his grandchildren, gardening and travel. Preceded in death by parents and 4 brothers, Conrad, Roy, Floyd and Hubert Jackson.

SURVIVORS: Wife, I.B. Jackson of Rockdale; sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew Monora and Betty Jackson of Elgin, Richard Dean and Sherry Jackson of Ada, OK., and John Thomas Jackson of Rockdale; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Sue and Billy Needham of Cameron and Rosemary and Chris Gerthe of Rockdale; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
