    I B Jackson was born Oct. 18, 1922 in Lee County, Texas and was a daughter of Ira Jack & Annie Isabel Watson Bownds. She and Monora F. Jackson were married in Cameron on March 8, 1946 and to this union five children were born. She has made her home near Cameron for the past two years and is formerly of Rockdale. She was a homemaker and member of Church of the Nazarene in Rockdale. IB loved to travel, crochet and read.

    I B passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple having reached the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 27, 1995; a son, Andrew F. Jackson, also three brothers, Olan E. Bownds, William M. Bownds and Jackson W. Bownds. Five sisters, Nona Jackson, Loraine Fredrick, Myrtle Jackson, Nealie Bownds and Dellie Bownds."
