Miss Mildred Frances VanAlst, 25, of Pine Bush, died Tuesday at William Booth Memorial Hospital in New York where she had been a patient for seven weeks. She was born October 19, 1922 in Town of Montgomery, a daughter of Joseph and Edna Corkey VanAlst. Surviving, besides her parents, are a sister Viola Smith, wife of Richard Smith of Pine Bush; a nephew. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the Scott Funeral Home with Rev. A. Merle Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Brick Church Cemetery, Montgomery. The casket will be open this evening at the funeral home.
