The Boomhower's and the Barton's may have had some connection before Berne. The Berne Family Site claims they were all born in Dutchess Co., NY, yet we are reasonably sure the Boomhower's were born in Center Brunswick. Were the Barton's born there too? There was a Michael 32, Elizabeth 36 and dau. Grace 1 in the 1880 census for Westerlo, but this could not be this Michael.
