Obituary from The Kingston Freeman, August 4, 1937: Mrs. Melissa Irwin of Accord died at her home, aged 71 years. Surviving are 6 sons: Arthur of Accord, John of High Falls, George and Fred of New York City, Cornelius of West Coxsackie, and Guy Irwin of Binghamton; one brother, George Relyea and one sister Fanny Relyea of New Paltz. Burial in the Accord rural cemetery.
