Maynard D. Crouse,80, died at his home at 765 Brodway, Hanover, Tuesday evening.
Born in Carroll County Md, He was the son of the late Charles Austin and Anna Kate Motter Crouse. He owned and operated the Hanover Studebaker Franchise and numberous other automotive sales companies prior to retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 348 and the F.A.M. in Hanover.
Survivors include his wife, Renna E. Crouse, of the same address, three sons, Jack M. of 751 Frederick st., Richard M. Crouse R.4 and Donald M. Crouse, 2089 Penn St. all of Hanover: Five brothers Herbert H., McKinley Ave,Hanover, Walter F., Littlestown R1: George W., Taneytown,Md., C.W. of Hanover R5.: and Paul D. of Lancaster: one sister Mrs. Alta Repscha of Flordia. 12 Grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home. 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with the Rev. Carl E. Yost and Rev. Dr. Edger D. Ziegler officating. Freinds may call Thursday fron 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic services will be at 8:45 p.m. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
