Mrs. Maude Laughner, 95, of Emlenton RD 1 died at 12:30 AM Wednesday in the Grandview Extended Care in Franklin after an extended illness. Born March 13, 1880, in West Freedom, she was the daughter of George and Ellen Shoup Ritchey. She was married July 6, 1904 to Fred Laughner, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Laughner was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ at Lamartine and was active in the church work as long as her health permitted. She was a charter member of the Emlenton Order of Eastern Star 426; Surviving are; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Hays of Bethel Park and Mrs. Warren (Helen) Ritts of Emlenton RD 1; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. L.R. (myrtle) Talbott of Visalia, California. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Walter (eleanor Hays.
