Mrs. Mary Relict of Mr. Benj. Perrin, died 18 Aug. 1820, AE. 87. [Birth about 1733.]
Source:Lovering, Martin. History of the Town of Holland, Massachusetts, p. 636, says "His wife's name was Mary, but her family name has not been ascertained". The estimated birth date comes from the gravestone and her place of origin is unknown. Benjamin & Mary named a son Hollowell, suggesting Hallowell/Hollowell as a possible maiden surname for Mary. However, no Hallowell records are found in Woodstock, CT, where Benjamin came from, nor in Brimfield, MA, where he bought land and settled in 1752, which would have been about the time he married. There are some suitable Mary Hollowells born in Boston, but there also appear to be suitable marriages in Boston to which they may be matched.
In Killingly, Windham Co., CT, a John Hollowell, by 2 wives (Marcy/Mercy & Mehetabel) has children b. 1726/7 - 1740, although no child named Mary is listed.
