OBITUARY

    Mrs. Mary L. DesChambeau, 78 of 312 Kossuth St., Rome, NY, died yesterday

in Rome Hospital after a brief illness.

    She was born October 21, 1882, daughter of Gilbert and Flora Lherault Thompson. On June 5, 1908, in St. Louis Church, Oswego, she married John

DesChambeau, who died June 27, 1950.

    Mrs. DesChambeau, a resident of Rome for 38 years, was a member of St.

Peter's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

  She leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Gorski Sr. Rome; five sons:Louis J., Emory

G., Lawrence A., Joseph F., and Edward S. all of Rome; a sister, Mrs. Mary L. Monette, 75 East Seneca St. Oswego, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchil- dren.

    The funeral will be at 8:30a.m. Monday from Griffin and Aldridge funeral home,

309 N. Washington St. and at 9 from St. Peter's Church, where a requiem Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow at the funeral home.
