    21. {Families of Old Fairfield} Capt. Theophilus HULL (ca 1654-1710) (Cornelius(4), George(3), Thomas(2), Richard(1)) son of (5) Lt. Cornelius Hull and Rebecca Jones was born, circa 1654, probably at Fairfield, Connecticut. He married, circa 1690/3 {New England Marriages Prior to 1700}, Mary Sanford (1670-1712) daughter of Ezekiel Sanford and Rebecca Wiekle[sic]. Theophilus and wife Mary renewed the covenant, 26 August 1694 {Parish Records} at the 1st Congregational Church, Fairfield. They were admitted to the church, 11 November 1694 {Parish Records, Fairfield}. He died 5 June 1710 at Fairfield.
