Parentage

Mary Russell is not listed in her father John Russell's will, but he did state that some of his children were not listed there. Mary's Death Record in Kentucky although clearly states that her parents were John Russell and Elizabeth of Virginia, which certainly provides circumstantial evidence for John and Elizabeth [Swink] as her parents. In addition, her marriage bond in Augusta County, Virginia with John Speer also states that John Russell was her father. Additional research may be needed.
