Jane Russell appear to likely be a daughter of John Russell and Elizabeth Swink. Her marriage bond with Isiah Jones provides circumstantial evidence as it clearly states her as a daughter of John Russell [with his consent provided indicating she was likely still under-age 18], and one of the witnesses to the Marriage Bond was Henry Swink, the brother of her likely mother Elizabeth "Betsy" Swink. Jane's likely father, John Russell did NOT name a daughter Jane in his will written in 1816, indicating that Jane had likely died prior to the writing of his will. Additional sources may be needed to prove this suspected relationship.
