Mary Pritchard was convicted at Monmouth Summer Assizes on 3 August 1801 and sentenced to seven years. She and her friend Margaret Harris had stolen goods from the shop of William Roberts in the early hours of 11 May 1801. Mary left England on the "Glatton" on 23 September 1802 and arrived Sydney on 11 March 1803. Before becoming partner to John Maskey, Mary had two children fathered by Ferdinand Meurant. References
