Were Mary the daughter of James Peery and Mary the wife of Reuben Segars the same Mary?

Two sources,[1][2] both derivative, disagree on the husband of Mary Peery. Extracts from a family history that appears to focus on the Peery family male line states that the daughter of James Peery married a Lazarus Turner. The probate record for her uncle, William Peery, however, states that she married Reuben Segars. The probate record also identifies the children of Reuben Segars and his wife Mary, although it errs in saying that the two sons died before the estate of William Peery was probated. The probate record also identifies the husband of Lazarus Turner as a daughter of William Peery's sister. Of note is that the most active guardian of record for Reuben Segar's sons after his death is a George C. Turner,[3][4] suggesting a connection of some sort between Reuben and Mary Segars and some Turner family. Further research is needed to clarify those relationships.
