Nicknamed "The pet of the 125th Illinois Volunteers" after she and her mother visited their camp during the Civil War. She married HB Slauson and moved to Seattle. Helped found the Women's Century Club in Seattle; also was Director of a arts conservatory for young women. She died at age 41 after they moved to Morgan Street.
