Gardner, Mary, d. Habbakuk, bp. Sept. 22, 1700. CR1.
Gardner, Mary, d. Habbakkuk and Ruth (Gedney), June 22, 1701.
[Obviously these two dates are incompatible for a single person, nor does it seem likely that two daughters named Mary could be involved. Source:Essex Institute Historical Collections (Essex Institute Press), p. 7:174, confirms that the church records say 22 Sep 1700 for the baptism. There is also some conflict with the dates for Joseph. The simplest solution is to assume the birth date is correct, and the baptism is simply recorded in the wrong year. If done for both Mary and Joseph, the spacing between children ends up being pretty typical, with no conflicts. This is what Source:Gardner, Frank A. Thomas Gardner, Planter (Cape Ann, 1623-1626, Salem, 1626-1674) and Some of His Descendants, p.140 seems to have done.]
