Aunt Mary had raised several nieces and nephews who lived with the Chapman family back on the farm in Martin County, KY. Prentice F., son of Hattie was left at the farm when he was a toddler. Hattie moved to one of the cities to find work. EulaDean and her brother Ford Muncy were raised by Aunt Mary.
