Someone has stated that she died young, leaving behind 10 children to be raised by her unmarried sister Mary Chapman and her parents, GWF & Lydia Chapman. However, while it appears that her daughter Eula may have been raised by Mary (Eula was in Mary's household in the 1930 census), Sadie did not die young.

Early census records state/imply that she was born 1896[2] or 1897[1], but her death record[5] says she was born 1894. If she was born as early as 1894, then all the birth dates in her family of origin are in question.
