She married John Atkinson on 6 November 1777, in Cumberland, Virginia, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 11 sons and 8 daughters. She died on 13 March 1856, in Williamson, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 98, and was buried in Williamson, Tennessee, United States.
