OBIT: MARVIN SCOTT, 79, a life-long resident of Clinton County from near South Scircleville, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning in Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis after an illness of some three years. Mr. Scott was born November 9, 1882, a son of Mark Scott and Jesse Ann McKinney. A farmer, Mr. Scott was a member of the South Scircleville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife on May 19, 1959. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Watson, Crawfordsville; two sons, Dr. George Scott and Noel Scott, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Benge who resides in New York state, 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Ralph McMullan Funeral Home at Kempton with the Rev. William Rose officiating. Burial will be in South Scircleville Cemetery. (Scott Cemetery).
