OBIT: EVERETT SCOTT, 81, of Hobbs Station, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mildred Blank, in Indianapolis at 2:20 p.m. Saturday. He had been in ill health for a year and had lived with his daughter the past few weeks. He was born in Sugar Creek township on October 9, 1878, to Mark and Jesse McKinney Scott. He was first married to Lucinda Cooper who preceded him in death in 1937. He later married Ethel Scott, who survives. He was a farmer and had lived in the Scircleville community most of his life. Surviving in addition to his wife, is the one daughter, Mrs. Blank; one sister, Mabel Benge of Jersey City, New York; one brother, Marvin Scott in the nursing home at Michigantown and five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are under the direction of the Ralph McMullan funeral home at Kempton. Burial will be in South Scircleville Cemetery.
