They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with their three children, eight grandchildren, some brothers and sisters and hosts of friends at the Bannon home, Morris, Ill., Sept 15, 1940, and at their son, Russell's home in Chicago, Ill., Sept 17, 1940.
