She graduated from the Morris High School in 1911. She studied voice at the American Conservatory of Music, Chicago, 1909-12. She studied voice in Chicago 1916-18, was representative for the Little Symphony Orchestra of Chicago (George Dasch, conductor - 45 players), 1925-30. She was also representative for the Chicago Woman's Symphony Orchestra (Ebba Sundstrom, conductor - 100 players), 1933-34. She sold 14 symphony concerts to Henry Ford for the Century of Progress, Chicago Fair, summer of 1934, for $5,000. References
