Undertaker E. B. Mosher was called to Des Moines Wednesday to care for the body of Mrs. John Vincent who passed away after a lingering illness. Mrs. Vincent with her family lived in Lacona and vicinity for several years and her many friends here will learn of her death with deep regret. Her body was brought to Lacona Friday and funeral services were held at the Christian neck church. Mrs. Vincent was Miss Mattie Lake and grew to womanhood near Liberty Center. She leaves to mourn for her, her husband, four daughters, Lula, Edna, Lena and Bonnie with their families, three sisters, Mrs. John Proctor, Mrs. Wm. Turner, and Mrs. Nellie Thorn and a half brother Murray Davis and other relatives and to these the community expresses sincere sympathy.
