    "… Martha Holcomb, daughter of John Holcomb and Ann Pettibone, born 1 April 1717 in Simsbury, Connecticut (Barbour citing TM 2:33, first daughter), and died 26 January 1789, at age 72, buried in the Farmington Cemetery (Hale 6) … The will of Martha Thomson [sic], dated 26 January 1787, names her son Abel Thomson, and three daughters Mary Whitman, Martha Lewis, and Huldah Judd. It nominates 'my two sons' Abel Thomson and Solomon Whitman, Jr., as executors (Farmington Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 2713)."
