Mark E. Moor of Guthrie Center, son of Faun and Margaret E. (Wolfe) Moor, was born on October 27, 1920 in Guthrie Center, IA. He pased away Monday, December 3, 2007 at Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center. He attended high school and graduated in 1938. Mark served in the United States Marine Corp. in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1945. He married Mary Porter on February 16, 1946 in Omaha, NE. Mark worked 39 years for Lewis Armored Car System as manager over three states and he retired in 1982. Mark is survivied by his sister, Margaret E. (Jane) Moor of Guthrie Cener, a niece Mary Margaret Moor of Sidney, NE and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, Guthrie Center. Visitation will be Thursday, after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Exira Cemetery in Exira.
