CHILLICOTHE - Marge Howard Gallup, 80, of 15911 E. Cheyenne Drive, Cuba, formerly of Chillicothe, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born June 20, 1919, in Flanagan to Owen and Lola Simpson Crumrine, she married Louis Howard on May 27, 1937. He died Feb. 28, 1977. She later married Robert Gallup on Jan. 14, 1982, in Chillicothe. He died Oct. 15, 1997, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one grandson and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Barb (and Philip) Freeman of Cuba; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Harriet Callahan of Montrose, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
She last worked as a secretary for the city of Chillicothe. Prior to that she worked as a Realtor for 25 years, at Barb Truitt Realty, Ed Raya Eden Land Co. and Coldwell Banker.
She was a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church in Blue Ridge and the United Methodist Women of Blue Ridge Pastor Committee for several years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel. The Rev. Mike Robison will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
Memorials may be made to Rescue 33 or her church.
