HAMILTON, Marjorie, age 86 years, 140 Bennett Avenue, passed away at a local hospital Friday, March 8, (1946) following a lingering illness. Mrs. Hamilton had been a resident of Whatcom county for the past fifty-eight years and was a member of the church formerly known as the Second Day Advent church. She was the mother of sixteen children, four having preceded her in death. Those surviving include five daughters, Mrs. Anna Barr, Mrs. William McKinnon and Mrs. J. F. Johnston, all of Bellingham; Mrs. Iva Cook, of Yakima, and Mrs. Paul Holtzheimer, of Blaine; seven sons, Leo, Guy, Ben and Eddie Hamilton, all of Bellingham; Fred, of Winlock, Wash.; Richard, of Kelso, Wash.; and Louis, of Boardman, Ore.; fifty-two great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren; also numerous other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Bingham-Dahlquist Funeral Home, Monday, March 11, at 1:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. George A. Arthur. Interment in family plot in Woodlawn cemetery.
