HAMILTON, Leo, age 73 years, of 2504 King Street passed away at a local hospital Friday, Dec. 25, (1953) following a lingering illness. Mr. Hamilton had resided in Bellingham for the past 60 years and leaves to survive his wife, Mrs. Erie Hamilton, in California; six sons, Cecil and Jack in Oregon, Edward, Floyd, Harold and Bud, all in California; two daughter, Mrs. June Upman and Mrs. Maida Chester, both in California; five sisters, Mrs. Ray Cook, Mrs. Nora Johnston, Mrs. Charles Barr, Mrs. William McKinnon, all of Bellingham, Mrs. Paul Holtzheimer, of Blaine; also six brothers, Edward, Guy and Ben Hamilton, all of Bellingham; Lewis in Oregon, Fred in Winlock, Wash., and Richard in California. The Rev. Jack Walden will officiate at funeral services Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. within the Chapel of the Bingham-Dahlquist & Jerns Funeral Home. Final resting place Woodlawn Cemetery.
