Maria Minton, daughter of Peter and Hannah (Conklin) Minton was born on 23 June 1847 according to family records. She married Frank Clawson on 19 January 1870, in Butler County, Ohio. Frank was born on 29 April 1843, in Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio. He died on 7 October 1893 in Liberty Township. Maria died on 23 May 1906 in Butler County. They are both buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio.
