MARIA MAGDALENE EASTERLY ( 2 NOV 1747) married "a Rinehart". The assumed marriage date is about 1767.
Maria was born in Forestville VA. Many Rineharts lived in the general area, so, a marriage between "a Rine hart" and Maria Magdalene Easterly is plausible.
The only other entry I can find on Maria is when their daughter, Sara Rinehart, is born to Adam Rinehart and Maria on 24 Jul 1791, in the Forestville VA area. The baptismal sponsor is listed as Catherine Branner.
Catherine Zirkle/Easterly/Branner (6 Apr 1933-4 Jan 1817) was the mother of Maria Magdalene Easterly and the grand mother of Sara Rinehart (b.1791).
It has been assumed that "a Rinehart" meant Adam Rinehart.
I have read every message in the Rinehart Family Forum, trying to identify this combination of Easterly-Rinehart connection. (there are 913 messages, as of today). In have concentrated specifically on Adam Rinehart
messages (33 of them), all to no avail.
What happened to this family? Who were their descendants?
From the younger brother of Maria Magdelene Easterly/Rinehgart I have records of over 8000 descendants. His name was Johann George Easterly (b.1749) in Forestville VA. I will be happy to share all my files with
anyone who needs them.
All these many years we look upon the family of Maria Magdalene Easterly/Rinehart as a lost branch of the family. I would like to discover who her descendants are and incorporate them into the fold of our family. To all
the Rineharts of that era, you have a lot of cousins in the Easterly/Zirkle/Branner families!
