↑ The source of this date is undoubtedly the unnamed correspondent of Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Ward Family, p. 130, about whom Ward says "No information was communicated, whether the above name chil[dren], mentioned as deceased, ever married." This, the inability to find a record of this, and the lack of location, substantially reduces the authority and usefulness of this source. It is suspected, somewhat in contradiction to the above source, that Maria married Simeon Walcot of Trenton, New York.
