Given this lesser authority, it is hard to trust the data. In particular, the Hale Collection records the death of a Josiah Ball in Connecticut in 1824. The death location has apparently been copied from Source:Sheldon, George. History of Deerfield, Massachusetts, Genealogies, p. 56, but the basis is unknown and as no supporting records have been found, is still in need of supporting evidence.
