- ↑ "Mrs. Ann Seery died at her late home two miles south and one andone-half miles west of this village, Tuesday, December the eleventh,aged 60 years and one month. Funeral services took place at the SeeryChurch with burial in the church cemetery on Friday, December 18th. Sheleaves to mourn, her son Howard and on grand-child and two brothers.Mrs. Seery was bedfast about two months and knowing her life was shortand her days were numbered, she made all arrangements for her ownfuneral preparations. She picked her pall-bearers, her minister andchoir, songs she wanted sung and her casket, etc. Mrs. Seery was a kindand loving wife and mother and loved by all who knew her. Herneighborhood lost a worthy woman. Her husband died 19 years ago."
